Child Safety Standards

1. Zero tolerance

KiTech Software does not permit child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of children, grooming, trafficking, sextortion, inappropriate sexual contact with children, or activity that facilitates such harm.

These standards apply to KiTech-operated services and to partner applications that adopt them. Customer-managed and self-hosted operators must also comply with applicable child-safety law and the product’s contractual requirements.

2. Prohibited conduct

Users must not:

• create, upload, possess, request, distribute, advertise, or link to child sexual abuse material;
• sexualise, exploit, groom, solicit, coerce, blackmail, or traffic a child;
• encourage a child to create or share sexual or intimate content;
• arrange or facilitate sexual contact with a child;
• expose a child to sexual content or conduct for abusive or exploitative purposes;
• impersonate a child or trusted person to facilitate abuse;
• use a service to identify, target, monitor, or contact children for harmful purposes; or
• assist another person in evading detection, reporting, safeguarding, or law-enforcement controls.

3. Product safeguards

Where relevant to the product and risk, safeguards may include:

• reporting, blocking, and moderation tools;
• age-appropriate access controls and policy prompts;
• restrictions on discoverability and unsolicited contact;
• administrator and safeguarding controls;
• abuse detection and investigation processes;
• preservation of evidence where legally required; and
• escalation to relevant authorities or child-protection organisations.

The presence of a safeguard does not make prohibited conduct permissible.

4. Reporting child-safety concerns

Use an in-product report where available or email hello@kitechsoftware.com with the subject Child safety report.

Include:

• the product or service involved;
• usernames, account IDs, message IDs, community IDs, URLs, or other identifiers;
• the approximate date and time;
• a factual description of the concern; and
• whether there appears to be an immediate risk of harm.

Do not download, copy, forward, or attach suspected child sexual abuse material. Report identifiers and location information only.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service or law-enforcement authority.

5. Response

KiTech may restrict access, preserve relevant records, investigate, remove content where technically and legally possible, and report suspected illegal activity to competent authorities or authorised child-protection bodies.

We will limit access to reports and evidence to people who require it for safety, legal, security, or investigative purposes.

7. Review
