Cookie and Local Storage Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how the public KiTech Software website uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies.

It applies to kitechsoftware.com. Individual KiTech products may use different technologies and will publish product-specific information where required.

2. Current use

The public website does not currently use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling, or analytics cookies.

The website uses browser localStorage to remember whether a visitor selected the light or dark appearance. The stored value is limited to the theme preference and is read only by the visitor’s browser when displaying the site.

This preference is not used to identify a visitor, track activity across websites, or build a profile.

3. Hosting and network information

When a visitor requests a page, normal technical information may be processed by the website hosting and network providers, including IP address, browser information, requested URL, date, time, and security-related request data. This processing is used to deliver, protect, and operate the website.

The website currently loads fonts from Google Fonts. Requests to that service may disclose ordinary connection information such as IP address and browser headers to Google. We do not use Google Fonts for advertising or analytics.

4. Consent

The current theme preference is a functional setting requested by the visitor and is not used for tracking. We therefore do not currently display a tracking-cookie consent banner.

We will obtain consent before introducing non-essential cookies or similar technologies where applicable law requires it.

5. Your controls

You can remove the saved theme preference through your browser’s site-data or storage controls. Removing it will cause the website to use the browser or operating-system appearance preference again.

Blocking local storage will not prevent access to the website, but the selected theme may not persist between visits.

6. Changes

We will update this policy before introducing materially different browser storage, analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.
